Paradox is an AI-powered recruiting and hiring automation platform built around its conversational AI assistant, Olivia. It helps organizations automate repetitive hiring tasks across job search, applications, candidate screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, offers, and onboarding. Paradox is particularly focused on high-volume and frontline recruiting, where organizations need to process large numbers of candidates quickly.

Olivia allows candidates to interact with employers through natural-language conversations instead of traditional lengthy application forms. Paradox automates candidate screening by evaluating applicants against predefined job requirements. Once a candidate begins a conversation, Olivia can immediately start screening for qualifications and move suitable applicants to the next stage, reducing the amount of manual résumé review required by recruiting teams.

Interview scheduling is another major capability. Olivia connects with calendars such as Outlook and Gmail and can coordinate interviews, send reminders, handle rescheduling, and manage multi-person or multi-location interviews. Paradox says this automation can significantly reduce the administrative workload placed on recruiters and hiring managers.

The platform extends beyond recruitment into candidate preparation, offers, and onboarding. Olivia can provide candidates with preparation materials, facilitate video interviews, deliver offer letters, collect onboarding documents, and answer questions from new hires.

Paradox also provides a conversational recruiting experience through text messaging and other messaging channels. Its platform supports more than 100 languages and can integrate with existing HR and applicant-tracking systems, including SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP, Taleo, Cornerstone, Greenhouse, UKG, and Lever.

The platform is particularly suited to enterprises, franchises, hospitality businesses, restaurants, retail organizations, healthcare providers, and other companies with high-volume hiring requirements. Paradox says Olivia supports more than 50,000 locations and owner/operators in its franchise-focused deployments.
