Unity’s AI tools help game developers build faster with AI integrated directly into the Unity Editor. They are designed specifically for game development and understand project context, helping creators get more relevant answers and complete development tasks with fewer retries.

Their Agentic Assistant works inside the Editor and supports multiple AI models for different development tasks. Developers can also use AI Gateway to connect models and tools directly, while the MCP Server bridges Unity with IDEs and applications such as preferred AI development tools.

Unity’s AI tools can help turn designs, images, and visual references into project-ready assets and playable scenes. Developers also get greater control with features such as undoing AI changes, tagging generated assets for review, and setting permissions that control how much autonomy AI agents have.

Getting started requires Unity 6 or later, the AI package, and a project linked to Unity Cloud. The tools are available in beta and are designed to work within existing Unity workflows, giving game creators an easier way to bring AI assistance into their projects.

Unity offers a free Personal plan with no credit card required, including a 14-day free trial of its AI tools and 1,000 monthly AI credits. Pro with 2,000 monthly AI credits, while Enterprise offers custom pricing and 3,000 monthly AI credits.
