Nabla is an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform designed to help healthcare professionals reduce documentation workload and spend more time with patients. Its flagship ambient AI assistant listens to clinician-patient conversations, transcribes them in real time, and generates structured clinical notes automatically. Nabla supports multiple specialties, clinical settings, and 35+ languages.

Nabla Ambient AI captures clinical conversations and transforms them into structured medical documentation. The platform can generate formats such as SOAP, APSO, and other customized note structures while allowing clinicians to control formatting, templates, and documentation preferences.

Nabla also provides clinical-grade medical dictation. Its speech-recognition technology is optimized for medical terminology including medications, symptoms, diagnoses, and other clinical vocabulary. Dictation can be performed in real time and integrated directly into clinical workflows.

The platform includes AI-powered medical coding capabilities. Nabla can suggest E/M and ICD-10 codes based on clinical documentation, while keeping the final coding decision with the clinician. Its APIs can also extract FHIR-compatible structured information such as conditions, ICD-10 codes, family history, and patient observations.

Nabla supports patient communication by generating patient-friendly instructions and visit summaries. These outputs can be generated from clinical conversations and adapted for different recipients and languages.

Nabla Connect allows EHR and healthcare technology companies to embed Nabla’s ambient AI directly into their own platforms. It provides clinical documentation, multilingual support, customization, multi-speaker transcription, coding suggestions, and patient instructions without requiring the EHR provider to build its own ambient AI infrastructure.

Nabla also provides the Nabla Core API for developers. The API supports medical encounter transcription, structured clinical-note generation, patient instructions, FHIR normalization, medical dictation, and natural-language note editing.

The platform is already deployed across major healthcare organizations. Nabla currently reports more than 100,000 clinicians, deployment across 190+ health organizations, and support for more than 20 million patient encounters per year on its website.

Nabla was founded by Alexandre LeBrun, Delphine Groll, and Martin Raison. The company operates from hubs in Paris and New York and has raised $120 million in funding. In July 2026, Brian Manning became CEO, while the founding leadership team continued to oversee product and technology development.
